A standard dice game rolls a number in a fixed range (commonly 0.00–100.00) and lets you bet on the roll landing above or below a target you choose. Moving your target changes two things together: your fair win probability (the share of the range that counts as a win) and the payout multiplier offered for that bet, which scales up as your chosen win chance goes down. This is a direct, transparent version of the same “smaller chance, bigger payout” trade-off that underlies most of the games on this site.

How does the target number set my odds?
Dice games typically roll a number between 0.00 and 100.00. Betting 'under 30' wins on any roll from 0 up to (but not including) 30 — a 30% fair win chance. Betting 'over 70' similarly wins on any roll above 70 — also a 30% fair win chance. The multiplier offered scales inversely with that chance, roughly `100 / win chance %`, minus the platform's built-in margin.
Is dice provably fair?
Most in-house dice implementations are built as provably fair — the roll is derived from a server seed committed before you bet, combined with your own client seed, so you can verify after the fact that the result wasn't altered based on your bet. Does betting closer to 50/50 give better value than a low-probability bet?
The fair math is proportional either way — a 50% win chance at roughly 2x payout and a 10% win chance at roughly 10x payout carry the same fair expected value before the house margin. What changes is variance: a near-50/50 bet wins more often for smaller amounts, a low-probability bet wins rarely for a much larger payout.
